I was born in England, but moved to this beautiful island 15 years ago. I feel as though I am on a permanent vacation, and am truly blessed to live and work on one of the most gorgeous islands in the world.

I am certified as a phlebotomist, CNA, pharmacy technician, and have seventeen years experience as a cash receipts operator for a New York Pension Fund.
St. Simons Inn is where I know that God has sent me.

The island has become such a special place to me since I moved here from Boston in 2009.
All of the staff members at the inn are like a special family.
We're all working together to make it a great place for our guests to enjoy.
Our staff is from a variety of places, but St. Simons Island is home to all of us.

I have had the amazing privilege of being a part of the SSI family since August, 2010.
During the course of my life I have worked in the hospitality industry in many ways, on many levels, and believe whole-heartedly that they were all in preparation for the awesome opportunity that I have been given here at the St. Simons Inn by the Lighthouse.
I was raised just a hop, skip, and a jump away in Camden County Georgia by my loving parents that taught me the importance of people.
No, not asking the question "what can you do for me?" but "what can I do for you?"
Over the last seven years I have been sharing that very message of investment in others with students and adults alike.
I have learned that when we can have selfless relationships that we can genuinely invest in and better the lives of those around us.
When I was made aware of an organization that cared about people first and selling rooms second I had to be a part of it!
I think I can speak for the entire staff here at SSI when I say that I am looking forward to getting to know you. Oh and one more thing... what can I do for you?

I have a twin sister, and three sons.
I love working here. It's an awesome place to work, and an awesome place to stay.
The management is great. The whole team is great.

I am from Uruguay, South America. I've lived here since 1998, and like it very much. I began working at St. Simons Inn in early 2010, and have found that this place is incredible - the staff, the rooms, everything. My duties are laundry, and outdoor maintenance. I enjoy outdoor sports, such as fishing and hunting.
