Stay Minimums
Weekend bookings require a two night minimum stay. Stay Friday and Saturday, or stay Saturday and Sunday.
Booking Reservations
A deposit of one night's room rate plus tax per room will be charged to your credit card at the time of your reservation.
Special events bookings, weddings and reservation of the entire house must be accompanied by a set deposit and are subject to the 14-day cancellation policy, as noted below. Quoted rates do not include 12% local and state tax. Rates are based on double occupancy. Reservations are subject to availability with advance reservations recommended, especially during peak season months (March, April, May, June, October, November and December).
Check-In, Check-Out
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Please call if delayed.
Personal Assistance
Our concierge front desk assistant will assist you to make any further arrangements, such as dinner or tour reservations.
Cancellation Policy
When situations arise requiring a change or cancellation in your reservation, we most certainly do empathize, but we must maintain a cancellation policy. We are a small inn and do not overbook. Our cancellation policy is 7 days prior to arrival, however, we do maintain a 14-day cancellation period for holidays, special events packages, weddings and reserving the entire inn. All cancellations will be charged a $50 service fee per reserved room.
Should you cancel your stay within 7 days of your arrival you will be responsible for full payment. If your stay is canceled more than 7 days prior to your arrival date, a refund of your deposit, minus a $50.00 cancellation fee, will be credited to your account within three business days after the date of cancellation. This same policy applies to the use of Gift Certificates.
Unclaimed Accommodations, Non-Arrivals, No-Show
Full charge for the entire reservation will be charged to the reservation credit card for unclaimed accommodations, non-arrivals and no-show on the dates of the confirmed reservation.
Restrictions
Smoking is permitted only in select locations out of doors.
No Smoking or Candles within the Inn's Interior.
No smoking or guest candles within the inn. Smoking is limited to the grounds or balcony (be sure windows and doors are closed). All rooms are fitted with monitored smoke detectors, which will sound an alarm if any smoke is present. Any violation to this policy will result in a $500 restoration fee.
Damage to Hotel Property
Management reserves the right to recover costs from the reserving guest in the event of deliberate or intentional damage to hotel property by guests or members of their party.
Security
The Inn places high priority on the security of guests' property. All valuables such as travel documents, credit cards and personal property are the full responsibility of the individual guest. St. Simons Inn by the Lighthouse is not responsible for loss of any money or valuables while staying at the inn. Management is not responsible for damage to any auto or loss of contents in the auto while parked at the Inn.
Pets
We have the only pet-friendly hotel room in the St. Simons Pier Village. It is accessible by stairs only.
